Audio tracks from .avi not showing in WMP library?

Try going to the file on your harddrive right clicking it and selecting open with option. This will allow wmp to try to open the files and you will see if the conversion successful. If it opens it and plays it you can right click on it and add to playlist to quickly get it in your library.
