Is a RAMP AGENT JOB really that dangerous?

I have an interview with United Airlines on Friday for a ramp agent position that leads to a customer service position in about 6 months. I have been reading a lot of information regarding the position and have found that is is supposed to be very dangerous as you could easily fall, get hit by a car or sucked up into an engine. I was just wanting more information regarding the safety of working the ramp agent position from someone who has had experience. Is it really that unsafe? How often do accidents happen? Did you like the job? Any information you can give me from experience will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
