Hard rock/metal music event for summer?

Ok so I'm a huge fan of music, but sadly I can't seem to find enough time to track down every artist I like so I'm hopin for some help. I live in the reno sparks area, so basicly any major city in california or nevada that has an involving this kind music would be awsome. So some sites or dates if you kno any would be awsome.
